Delivery

The orders go out. The money comes back.

Delivery is two jobs: getting food to the door and settling the person who took it there. Most systems only do the first one, which is why the second one is a spreadsheet at midnight.

One run, on the driver’s phone

Claimed by code so two people cannot take the same order, live on the map while it is out, the tip taken at the door and charged to the card on file, and a total the driver can see for himself at the end of the night.

What the counter sees

  1. 01

    Dispatch from the counter

See what is unassigned, what is out and who has it, without asking the room.

  2. 02

    Drivers claim by code

A driver takes the order on their own phone by entering its code, so two people cannot claim the same run.

  3. 03

    Live location on the map

Where the driver is now, not where they said they were twenty minutes ago.

  4. 04

    Tips taken at the door

The driver adds the tip on their phone and the POS charges the card on file for it.

  5. 05

    Failed tips retry properly

A declined tip retries up to three times and then stops and says so, rather than silently disappearing.

  6. 06

    End of night that balances

Each driver sees their own deliveries and their own tips total. So do you.

And a manager you can just ask

Oreon is built into the POS on every plan. It reads your own sales data and makes menu changes on request, showing you what it will do before it does it.

What it is not for

If you only use third-party delivery platforms and never run your own drivers, this is overhead. The part you want is online ordering landing in the same queue as the counter.

Ten minutes on the phone

We ask what you run today and what it costs you, then put a rate and a hardware list in writing. If staying where you are is cheaper, we say so.
